UppCast is a revolutionary, highly customisable "PaaS platform" designed to enhance e-Learning and m-Learning. The platform is a multi-tenant claud software (PaaS), fully customised and integrated with Microsoft Windows Azure cloud, which can support the creation of a library of audio and visual podcasts that students can listen to or view via a range of mobile devices. UppCast provides a multimedia digital library that you can manage from your own branded portal, delivering learning resources to be accessed from outside the classroom. To maximise the number of learners who can access the learning material, the podcasts are downloadable in formats suitable for a range of technologies including iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, Sony PSP, 3G Mobile and Windows Media. Students from different education institutions, as well as from other Organizations, can share results and collaborate, creating a better environment for learning, where co-operation is empowered by technology.
