Asteroid.Ventures Is going to be our flagship demonstration of the open source Cosmosium Engine. Asteroid.Ventures will only have a few key elements which seperates it from Cosmosium. Primarily these proprietary features will be in competitive game match making and in custom hosting solutions. We don’t believe in the “freemium” model, we want to empower the player to participate and learn without relying on their wallet as a crutch. Instead, we will sell the service of configuring and deploy a custom server. MetaSim Platform The (MSP) is a web service definition inspired by Run-Time-Infrastructure (RTI) as developed for the modern web with RESTful calls and dedicated sockets. It is built to run as a service between Simulation Modules called Federates.The MetaSim Platform will stay as an open source standard and library repository, but we will find monetization through proprietary modules, hosting GUIs, subscription services, and solution engineering.
