PetHub "Signal" Bluetooth ID tag linking to a mobile app that measures pet activity, proximity, ambient temperature, and more, including linking the tag to an online profile. Pet caretakers are alerted when an animal goes missing, is found (including GPS mapping), and includes an "Amber Alert"-like system to notify locals of the missing animal. Pet profiles include pet medical needs (medications), license & rabies tag numbers, microchip numbers, insurance plans, emergency contacts, and more. 62% of U.S. households have a pet with the U.S. alone boasting 78MM dogs and 86MM cats within its borders. Nearly $60 billion was spent on the care, feeding and protection of our four-legged family members in 2014.
