The education start-up is transforming the college-to-career landscape with an experiential learning program designed to quickly create and place workplace-ready college graduates. They partner directly with leading employers to put grads on the fast-track to great jobs and meaningful careers. Koru was founded by Kristen Hamilton (Chief Executive Officer) and Josh Jarrett (Chief Learning Officer). Hamilton was a co-founder at Onvia and the former COO of World Learning. Jarrett is a former McKinsey & Co consultant and most recently the Head of Higher Education Innovation at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Headquartered in Seattle, Koru is currently running employer-embedded programs with partners like zulily, Payscale, Porch, Possible, and Julep to give recent graduates the skills, experience and connections they need to get hired and make an immediate impact.
