Our mission is to fundamentally enhance the way people experience reality. Our first product combines Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) with haptic feedback, allowing one to "feel" words. The initial focus is helping the hearing-impaired. Instead of the traditional route of boosting disabled senses, A15 focuses on augmenting unaffected ones, providing the brain with additional signals to incorporate into its recall and prediction systems. While we're starting with speech and ASR, the potential extends to other senses - even those outside the normal human experience. As a pedestrian, imagine being able to "feel" your way to your destination while walking, without constantly pulling out a phone or wearing a display on your face. In combat, imagine being able to "sense" nearby friendly units. Current wearable technology barely scratches the surface of what's possible when paired with intelligent computing and our own nervous systems. We're at the forefront of this exciting frontier.
